Chronicle by Miquel Armengol.
On Friday, June 12th, at 6:00 PM, the solemn concelebrated Eucharist for the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, titular of the Tibidabo Basilica, was held.
The ceremony saw a significant attendance and was presided over by the parish priest and director of the Salesian community, Miquel Armengol. Concelebrating with him were Joan Lluís Playà, head of the worldwide Salesian Family groups, and Ángel Cabello, inspectorial delegate of the Association of Mary Help of Christians (ADMA) for the Catalonia area, among others.
A substantial group from the ADMA of the Barcelona and Vallès areas was present, including members from Rocafort, Sabadell, and the Don Bosco Navas parish, along with several Salesian Sisters, youth from the Sant Cugat monastery parish, and numerous adorers.
The event concluded with a well-prepared refreshment organized by the house administrator, assisted by a dedicated group of adorer ladies, in the St. George Room.
Earlier in the day, between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM, a prayer and formation session took place, centered around the video of the Pope’s prayer vigil in Montjuïc. The house staff participated alongside the Salesian community. Following this, a pleasant reception brought the gathering to a successful close.
