More than a hundred faithful from the parishes of the Collserola Hills gathered for their Jubilee meeting on the highest mountain: Tibidabo and its Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
On the morning of Saturday, 7 June, participants ascended the steps of the crypt to pass through the Holy Door amid hymns. This was followed by a prayer service including biblical readings, moments of silence, singing, and the opportunity to receive the sacrament of penance.
The concelebrated Mass, led by all the parish priests, was the main event of the pilgrimage, featuring the presentation of offerings symbolising hope from each parish. A shared meal marked the conclusion of the Jubilee gathering.
The Collserola parishes that organised the Jubilee meeting at Tibidabo on 7 June were: Santa María de Vallvidrera-Les Planes, St. Joan de la Creu, and the Sacred Heart of Jesus of Tibidabo. A delegation from Sant Vicenç de Sarrià and St. Ramon Nonat also participated. The crypt was completely full.
